Invitation to Join Our Prayer and Mission Journey to Cambodia

We are excited to extend a heartfelt invitation to you to join us on a transformative Prayer and Mission Journey to Cambodia from September 11-22. This journey offers a unique opportunity to deepen your faith, share your testimony, and serve in meaningful ways while experiencing the rich history and culture of Cambodia. You will be serving within a greater and long-term vision called The Catalyst Project.

Why Cambodia?

Located within the 10/40 window, Cambodia, a country with a vibrant history and resilient spirit, offers a profound backdrop for our mission. Once the heart of the powerful Khmer Empire, Cambodia is home to the majestic Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and a symbol of the country's cultural heritage. Despite its beauty and historical significance, Cambodia has faced immense challenges, including the devastation of the Khmer Rouge regime in the 1970s, which left deep scars on its people. Today, Cambodia is a land of hope and renewal, where the gospel is bringing healing and transformation.

Our Mission

During our journey, we will partner with Well Global missionaries, a dedicated team of missionaries committed to sharing the love of Christ and empowering local communities. Our mission will involve several key activities:

  1. Prayer Journeys: We will embark on prayer walks through various communities, interceding for the people of Cambodia and asking for God's guidance and blessing on their lives.

  2. Sharing Our Testimonies: Each of us has a unique story of how Christ has worked in our lives. We will have opportunities to share our testimonies, offering hope and encouragement to those we meet.

  3. Visiting Local Ministries: We will visit and support local ministries that are making a significant impact, such as orphanages, schools, and community centers. Our presence will provide much-needed encouragement and assistance.

  4. Serving in Various Capacities: We will engage in hands-on service in any way needed to serve the mission.

  5. Exploring Angkor Wat: In addition to our mission work, we will visit Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This visit will not only enrich our understanding of Cambodia’s history but also remind us of the enduring beauty that God has created in this world.

Team Speakers

Mike Brewer will be a team speaker, and the list of others will be announced soon. Mike is a founder of The Well Global and The Well of Maryville and have led over 1,100 people on international mission trips. They are eyewitnesses to the power of God in birthing church planting movements in very difficult places.

The Impact

By joining this journey, you will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative power of the gospel in a land that is yearning for hope and healing. You will be an instrument of God’s love, bringing light to places overshadowed by past tragedies. Your presence and participation will encourage our missionaries and the local believers, showing them that they are not alone in their efforts.

Moreover, this journey will be a time of personal spiritual growth. You will be stretched and challenged, experiencing the joy of serving others and deepening your reliance on God. The friendships and memories you make will last a lifetime, and the impact you have on the lives of others will be eternal.
